“I’ve decided never to fall in love again. It’s a disgusting habit. Ten minutes ago, I saw death everywhere. Now it’s just the opposite. Look at the sea, the waves, the sky. Life may be sad, but it’s always beautiful.”—Anna Karina, Pierrot le Fou (via tat-art)
I wish I could just sleep forever. I used to think it was a scary thought but, now it just sounds like a peaceful experience. It’s not that I hate myself or I wanna die. I just love to dream and, dreaming sounds better than doing anything else.
I wouldn’t mind if we didn’t go to heaven and instead we just slept forever and dreamt.
“Pleasure to me is wonder—the unexplored, the unexpected, the thing that is hidden and the changeless thing that lurks behind superficial mutability. To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.”—H.P. Lovecraft (via misswallflower)
“Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won’t either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their sweetness. Tell yourself you tasted as many as you could.”—Louise Erdrich (via vvolare)
